OS Map OL26, SE 542 894. Not a long-distance path near this cafe; it is worth a visit, due to its charm, the level of service, and the choice of food offered by Oli & Sally.
Situated in the small Hamlet of Hawnby between Osmotherley and Helmsley, it is a gem. There are walks on the North York Moors itself (visit Hawnby Crag for a short walk) and a cyclist’s dream if you like undulating hills.
Osmotherley Coffee Shop

OS Map OL26, SE 456 972. As you enter the village of Osmotherley on the Cleveland Way, you will walk down the alleyway into the village square. The coffee shop is on the opposite side of the square, facing the central war memorial.
You will be met with a friendly smile and some of the tastiest open sandwiches available. You need to try one. There is a good choice of coffees & cakes too.

OS Map OL26, SE 503 887. The Cleveland Way long-distance path passes the front door of this cafe, as you walk along it from Helmsley towards Osmotherley. With a wide range of food and drink available. Accommodation rooms are available for rent, or a flat sheltered campsite for small tents. It truly is paradise.
A wide range of refreshments available. Recommendation – their pizzas, try a pizza!

Superb cafe and accommodation right on the Coast to Coast, between Reeth and Grinton.
Whether you are a cyclist or walker and you need to refuel, you will not leave here hungry.
The portions are huge and not expensive.
If you need anything, ‘Cycle’ this is a place to visit. Very knowledgeable.
